Starting
or stopping
your dryer
Starting
your
dryer
Close the door and select a cycle and tem-
perature. See pages 7-16 for additionalsetting
information. Your dryer automaticallystops
when a cycle ends.
Stopping
and restarting
your
dryer
Open the dryer door or turn the Cycle Control
Knob to OFF. Close the door; make new
selections (if necessary). Push the Start
Button.
NOTE: The Cycle Control Knob should pointto
an OFF area when the dryer is not in use. If
the dryer is stopped before the cycle is
finished, turn the Cycle Control Knob to an
OFF area.
End of cycle
signal
(on some models)
The dryer sounds a signal to let you know
when the cycle is finished. The signal is not
adjustable, but can be turned off (on some
models), if your model has an End of Cycle
signal selector, see page 11.
The signal is helpful when you are drying
permanent press, syntheticsand other items that
should be taken out as soon as the dryer stops.
