In the event of malfunction
or breakdown,
the ground

a path of least resistance
for the electrical

plug.
The plug must be plugged
into an appropriate
outlet that is properly
installed and grounded

Never connect
the ground
wire to plastic plumbing
lines, gas lines, or hot water pipes.
