Sunday in April, and change from 3 AM back to 2 AM on the last
Sunday in October. Remember that when you programmed, your
recording length may be affected because the VCR clock auto-
matically changes.
To use the auto daylight saving time:

Press the MENU button on the remote control. The '%'CR
Main Menu" appears on your TV.
Use the ADJUST dial on the remote to select "Customize
choices." Turn the shuttle ring right.
Q The "Customize choices" menu will appear. Use the ADJUST
dial to select "Auto D.S.T." Then, turn the shuttle ring to
select ON.
Press the MENU button once to return to the '_CR Main
Menu;" press the MENU button again to turn offthe menus.
Dlmportant: Do not use this feature if you live in an area that does not observe
daylight savings time, such as Arizona, Indiana, or Hawaii.
Using the auto power saving (auto-off)
With Auto power save on, your VCR will automatically turn off
after 30 minutes if you are not using any of the buttons and
control or there is no cassette loaded into the VCR.
To use the auto power saving:
Press the MENU button on the remote control. The "VCR
Main Menu" appears on your TV.

Use the ADJUST dial on the remote to select "Customize
choices." Turn the shuttle ring right.
The "Customize choices" menu will appear. Use the ADJUST
dial to select "Auto power save." Then, turn the shuttle ring to
set to ON.
Press the MENU button once to return to the "VCR Main
Menu;" press the MENU button again to turn off the menus.
Dlmportant: When you are viewing broadcast stations through VCR the words
"3minutes_Power off' will appear on TV screen three minutes
before the VCR power turns off. The display will count down the
number of minutes until the VCR turns off. If you want to con-
tinue using VCR, load a cassette or press any of the buttons.
