• Do not open the battery cover or remove the battery while the power is on

• Remove the battery when you will not use the camera for a tong while. The

battery may leak.

• If the date and time settings

have been reset when you install a new battery

after a long time has passed since the battery was removec

follow the

procedure

for "Setting the Date and Time" (p.64).

• Insert the battery correctly.

If the battery is inserted incorrectly,

it may not be

removed. Wipe the electrodes

of the battery with a soft dry cloth before

inserting.

• Be careful as the camera or battery may become

hot when the camera is

used continuously

for a long period of time.

Slide the battery cover unlock

lever in the direction of the arrow

(_) to open the battery cover

Face the • mark on the battery

towards outside of the camera,

push the battery lock lever in the

direction of the arrow (_3_)and

insert the battery.

To remove the battery, push the battery

locklever inthe directionof the arrow (_)

with your finger. Remove the battery

when it pops out slightly.
