On-Timer with Alarm Feature
The Combination VCR can be setto automatically poweron in one of 3

the On-Timer time and also to
choose the On-Timer mode
(TV,
PLAY, or FM radio). See the AV
selection order shown below.
• Make sure a tape is insertedif Playback
modeisselected.
• See =FMRadioFeature" on page 15 for
instructions o n how to presetFM stations.

Press AV to select alarm "ON" or
"OFF."
When "ON" is selected,
an alarm will gradually increase in
volume for one minute or until cancelled
by pressing any button on the remote or
Combination VCR (including VOL <1_ ). When the alarm sound
stops, the sound of the mode you selected will ensue.

To Make Corrections,
use AT and <, to move back and correct as necessary.
Press ON-TIMER to set the On
Timer. This screen will appear for
about 5 seconds.
• The ON TIMER indicator lightson the front
panel.
To cancel,
ON TIMER SET
pressON-TIMER to redisplay the screen in step3. Then, press
ADD/DLTto clear the time ("6"isflashing). Now, pressON-TIMER
to end. =ONTIMER END"appearson-screenfor a few seconds.

Set the Sleep Timer
The Combination VCR can be set for auto power off.
Press SLEEP repeatedly to set the sleep
timer.
• Each presswill changethe time in the ordershown
at dghL
• If youpressDISPLAYwiththe SLEEPTIMER set.
the remaining timewill appearon-screen.
