    ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENT TENSION POST ADJUSTMENT CLEANING PROCEDURE FOR THE UP- PER CYLINDER UNIT Purpose: To maintain a constant tape tension so that the tape runs with stability by performing preliminary adjustment. 1. While slowly turning the Upper Cylinder Unit counterclockwise by hand, gently rub the Video Heads with Symptom of Misadjustment: a Head Cleaning Stick (VFK27) moistened with Ethanol.
