DesCRiPtion
The Extron STP24LC Cable is ideal for serial control and AES/EBU commercial digital
applications. This shielded twisted pair cable provides controlled impedances that exceed
AES/EBU standards maintaining the integrity of the signal over long distances. This cable
offers twice the performance of the Extron STP Series Serial Control/Audio cable, and is a high
performance solution for transmission and distribution of serial digital audio and serial control
signals, such as RS-232, in a variety of A/V applications.
The STP24LC features two color-coded or one twisted pair, 24 AWG tinned copper conductors,
and a tinned copper drain wire on the inside of the foil shield that is bonded to the jacket for
ease of stripping when used with automatic stripping equipment. The cable is available in
1,000' lengths.
The STP24LC-2 features four color-coded or two twisted pair, 24 AWG tinned copper
conductors, and a tinned copper drain wire on the inside of the foil shield of each twisted pair
wrapped in a single jacket. The cable is available in 1,000' lengths.
