Deleting Unnecessary Images
1 Press the'_ button to delete the image
currently displayed on the monitor.
• To exit without deleting, press the MENU button.
2 Press the multi selector • or • to choose the T
desired deletion method and press the _)
button.
• Current image: Only the current image or voice memo
(_143) is deleted.
• Erase selected images: Multiple images can be selected
and deleted.
See "Operating the Erase Selected Images Screen" for more information.
• All images: All images are deleted.

Press • or • to select Yes and press the _) _j
button.
• Deleted images cannot be recovered.
• To cancel, select No and press the _) button.

Press the multi selector _ or i_ to choose an
image to be deleted and press • to add _ to
the image.
• To undo the selection, press • to remove _.
• Rotate the zoom control ([_4) toward T (C_)to switch
back to full-frame playback or W ([]) to display
thumbnails.
2 Add _ to all desired images and then press the _) button to confirm
the selection.
• A confirmation dialog is displayed. Follow the instructions displayed on the monitor.
_1_ Notes on Deletion
• Deleted images cannot be restored. Transfer important images to a computer before deleting them.
• Protected images cannot be deleted (_139).

[] Deleting the Last Image Captured While in Shooting Mode
in shooting mode, press the _ button to delete the last image captured.
