Observethefollowingwhenpreparingthe edgerfor
long-termstorage:
1. Cleanand lubricateunit thoroughlyas instructed
maintenancesectionof this manual.
2. Referto the EngineManualpackedseparately
with the edgerfor enginemanufacturers's
storageinstructions.
3. Coatthe edger bladewith chassisgreaseto prevent
rustingand corrosion.
4. Storethe edgerin a dry,clean area.Do notstore next
to anycorrosivematerials,such as lawnfertilizer.
5. Coatthe edger,especiallyany springsand bearings
with a lightoil or silicone spray.
IMPORTANT:Whenstoringanytype of power
equipmentin an poorlyventilatedor metal storageshed,
careshouldbe taken to rustproofthe equipment.
