Aligning
the colors
Your Mitsubishi
TV has three picture
tubes
and large diameter
lenses which are aligned
to project light beams on the screen. Each
picture
tube projects
only one color; red, green or blue.
For the best picture,
the three
colors should be aligned
at the
center of screen.
You should perform
the following
:procedure
periodically,
or whenever
you think
that the light beams are out of
alignment.

to select

to go back
0 Press the MENU
button
on the
remote
control. The Main Menu
will appear
on the screen.
O Use the ADJUST
button
to
select "First
Time Setup."
Press
ENTER.
O Select "Align Colors" using the
ADJUST
buttons.
Press EN-
TER.

Align Colors
Press ENTER
to select
Red or
Blue.
Then on each screen press
ADJUST
until the cross hairs
appear
white.

to select
ENTER
to enter
MENU
to go back
O The "Align Colors" screen will
appear.
Press ENTER
to select
a color to align: red or blue.
O Use the adjust
buttons
to align
the color yoa selected
(red or
blue) with the _.ween lines.
When they ;are aligned, the
green line will turn white.
Red
O Next, use the ENTER button
to
select the other color (red or
blue). Use t:he !_DJUST
buttons
to align these
colored lines with
the green lines.
O After aligning
both the red and
blue lines, press the MENU
button
to return
to the "First
Time Setup:" menu.
The cross-bar
pattern
is intended
for use only as an alignment
aid.
It should not be left on for a long period of time, sir_ce it can dam-
age the picture
tubes.
The alignment
can change
over rjr.ae and may need to be adjusted.
If you notice a change
in the color quality
of the, picture,
check the
alignment
and readjust
as required.
