PLAYING
3 PressDISPLAY once, twice or three times te see:
-1, Remainingtracktime, total remaining time, or total
track time with level indicatoroff.
4 Totemporarily interrupt play, pressPAUSE
•-I* PAUSE w ill light up on the display.
5 Tocontinue play, pressPAUSE again or press PLAY.
6 Tostop play, press STOP.
-_ The numberof tracks andthe total playingtime on the
CDwill appearon the display.

Selecting a track during play
1 Briefly press [_ or_] one or moretimes.
The player will skipto the beginningof the current,
previousor next tracks,including tracks on the other
disc when both decks are in use asa 2-disc changer
or
• SelectCD R or CDon the remote control,then pressthe
desiredtrack number using the numerickey pad on the
remote control Fortwo-digit track numbers,pressthe
numeric keysin rapid succession.Fortracks on the other
disc, select the desireddeck first by pressingCDor CD-R.

1 Briefly press[_,_or k,_] oneor more times.

Select CD-Ror CDon the remote control, then pressthe
desiredtrack numberusing the numerickey padon the
remote control. For twe-digit track numbers,pressthe
numerickeysin rapidsuccession,
2 Press PLAY.

Searching during CD play
1 Holddown [_,_or z*_)on the front of the deckor _ or z_
on the remote control.
4 The player will searcheither forward or backwardat ten
times the normalspeedwith the sound on low level,
and wig then search at fifty times the normalspeed
with the sound muted.The searchwill extend over both
discs if the changermode (DUALoff) is activated
2 Releasethe button when the desired passagehas been
found.

Note: During Shuffle, Repeator Programmedplay, searchis
restricted to within the track beingplayed at the time.

1 Press DUAL to switch aff the DeAL mode and te switch an
the Ewe-disc changer mode.

2 Press SHUFFLE on the remote contrel before starting or
during play to activate shuffle play.
-_ The tracks on the CD(er in program if programmed) w ilt
play in random order.5HUFFL_ will appear on the
display betweentracks
3 PressSHUFFLE again to return to normat CDplay.
Note: Shuffle is also clearedwhen you open the disc tray`
JRepeat CD, track or program
1 PressREPEAT on the remete control oneor more times
duringCD play.
•'_ When REPEAT I appearson the display, the current track
playsrepeatedly.When RZPF.AT appearson the display,
the discsor programmesplay repeatedly.
2 Toreturn to normal play, pressREPEAT one or moretimes
until:
The repeat messagedisappearsfrom the display.
