Replacing the Cutting Burrs
If thecuttingburrs aredamaged, or
have reached t heendof theirlife
(usually a ftergrinding 600-800Ibs.
of coffee), theycanbereplaced e asily.

to ordera setof replacement burrs.
Toreplacethe burrs:
i Remove thefaceplate a ndburr-shaft
assemblies. Forinstructions, see
"Cleaning t heCutting Burrs" s teps
1,2, and3 onpages 25and26.
2 Witha Phillips screwdriver, remove
theburrfromtheburr-shaft assembly
byturning thetwo burr-mounting
screws counter-clockwise until f ree.
Remove theburrfromthe motor
housing byturningthetwo burr-
mounting screws c ounter-clockwise
untilfree.

Attach the replacement burrs to
the burr-shaft assembly and motor
housing using the burr-mounting
screws. Make certain the cutting
surfaces of the burrs face outward,
and the burr-mounting screws
are tight.
Insert the burr-shaft assembly into
the motor housing and attach the
faceplate assembly. For instructions,
see "Cleaning the Cutting Burrs"
steps 5- 10 on pages 27 and 28.
