• Using the shuttle ring
The shuttle feature lets you control all the playback functions -- PLAY,
PAUSE, SLOW MOTION, and SEARCH -- using one convenient ring.

O Turn the shuttle ring during
playback or still playback (pause). "

mode to fast forward or rewind
the tape.

Notes:
• If noise bars appear on the TVscreen during the SLOW/STIL L modes, turn
and hold the shuttle ring in the SLOW position, then press the TRACKING
(A or Y) button on the VCR to minimize the noise bars. The noise bars are
then eliminated automatically in the STILL mode.
• Since thin videotape is used in T- 780 and longer cassettes, do not
repeatedly perform the following operations with these tapes.
--Fast forward, rewind, slow play
--insertion and ejection of tapes
