• Using the shuttle ring
The shuttle feature lets you control all the playback functions -- PLAY,
PAUSE, SLOW MOTION, and SEARCH --_ using one convenient ring.

How to use the shuttle ring.
O Turn the shuttle ring during
playback or still playbaCk (pause).
• As you turn the ring, you get
different playback speeds and
forward or reverse motion.
• Try using the shuttle to explore
backward and forward through
your next video.

""Notes:
• If noise bars appear on the TV screen during the SLOW/STILL modes,
turn and hold the shuttle ring in the SLOW position, then press the
TRACKING (& orV) button on the VCR to miniFnize the noise bars. The
noise bars are then eliminated automatically in the STILL mode.
• Since thin videotape is used in T-180 and longer cassettes, do not
repeatedly perform the following operations with these tapes.
--Fast forward, rewind, slow play
--insertion and ejection of tapes
