Installation Instructions
MOBILE HOME INSTALLATION
1. DIyer MUST be exhausted outside (outdoors, not
beneath the mobile home) using metal ducfing fllat will
not support combustion. Metal ducfing must be 4"
(10.16 cm) in diameter wifll no obstructions. Rigdd metal
duct is preferred.
2. If die d_Ter is exhausmd dlrough the floo_, file exhaust
sysmm MUST NOT mmlinam beneath the mobile
home. Termination MUST be securely fasmned to the
mobile home su_ucmre.
3. When installing a gas d_yer into a mobile home, a
provision must be made for outside make-up all This
provision is m be not less than twice the area of the d_yer
exhaust outlet.
4. Gas dryers MUST be fastened to the floor using Mobile
Home Installation Kit Pub. No. 14-D346-33.
5. See the Exhaust System Checklist section for other
important venting information.
6. Installation MUST conform to current Manufactured
Home Gonsmlcfion & SafetTy Standard (which is a
Federal Regulation Title 24 GFR--Part 32-80) oI,
when such standard is not applicable, with American
National Standard for Mobile Homes, ANSI/NFPA No.
501B. In Canada, the CSA Z240 is applicable.
