Careand Cleaningof the Dryer

The Lint Niter: Clea n th e

Pull out the lint filte_:

Once clean, slide the filter
back into position. Have
a qualified technician
vacumn the lint fl'om the dryer once a veal;
The Exhaust Duct: Inspect and clean the exhaust
ducting at least once a year to prevent clogging.
A partially clogged exhaust can lengthen the
drying time.
Follow these steps:
[7] Turn off electrical suppl_ by discmmecting
the plug from the wall s_clcet.
_ Disconnect the dtlct fFoIll the dryer:
_ Vac[l[lIll the duct with the hose attachment
and reconnect the duct.
The Exhaust Hoo& Check with a mirror that
the inside flaps (ff the hood move fl'eely when
operating. Make sure that there is no wildlife
(birds, insects, etc.) nesting inside the duct
or hood.
