The following information will help you choose cookware which will give good performance on glass cooktops.
Never cook directly on the glass,
Always use cookware,
Always place the pan in the center of
the surface unityou are cooking on.
About the radiant surface units...
The radiant cooktop teamres heating
units beneath a smooth glass suri_lce.
NOTE: A slightodoris normal w hena new
cooktop is usedforthefirst time.It is caused by
theheatingof newpartsand insulating materials
andwifl disappear i na shorttime.

maintain your selected control setting.
It is sale to place hot cookware on the
glass smihce even when the cooktop
is cool.
Even atter tlle surface units are turned
oft, the glass cooktop retains enough heat
m continue cooking. To avoid over-
cooking, remove pans fl'om the surt_ace
units when the food is cooked. Avoid
placing awthing
on the surface unit
until it has cooled completely.
Do not slide cookware across the
cooktop because it can scratch the
glass--the
glass is scratch resistant,
