USING
A WARNING!
HYDROGEN
GAS IS EXPLOSIVE
Under
certain
conditions,
Hydrogen
gas may be produced
in a hot-water
system
that has not been
used fk_r two weeks
or more.
HYDROGEN
GAS IS EXPLOSIVE.
if the hot-water
system
has not been used
fk_r such a period,
befk_re using
the dishwasher
turn on all
hot-water
faucets
and let the water
flow from
each fk)r several
minutes.
This
will release
any
accumulated
hydrogen
gas. As the gas is flammable,
do not smoke
or use an open
flame
during
this
time.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance
must be grounded,
in the event
ofa malflmction
or breakdown,
grounding
will
reduce the risk of electric
shock by providing
a
path of least resistance
for electric
current.
This
appliance
is equipped
with a cord having
an
equipment-grounding
conductor
and a grounding
plug. The plug must be plugged
into an appropriate
outlet that is installed
and grounded
in accordance
with all local codes and ordinances.

Improper
connection
of the equipment-grounding
conductor
can result
in a risk of electric
shock.
Check
with
a qualified
electrician
or service
representative
if you arc in doubt
whether
the
appliance
is properly
grounded.

PROPER
USE
Do not abuse, sit or stand on the door or dishrack
of the dishwasher.
Do not touch the heating
element
during

immediately
after use.
Do not wash plastic
items unless they are marked
dishwasher
safe. For unmarked
plastic items, check
the manufacturer's
recommendations.
Use only detergent
and rinse
additives
designed
for automatic
dishwashers.
Never
use
laundry
detergent,
or hand
washing
detergent
in
your dishwasher.
Always
keep
detergents
and rinse
agent
additives
out of the reach
of children.
(They
can be very
harmfifl
if swallowed)
Do not let children
play
unsupervised
near
any appliance
whether
operational
or not.
The door should
not be left in the open
position
as this could
present
a tripping
hazard.
Do not tamper
with controls.
Do not operate your dishwasher
unless all
enclosure
panels are properly
inplace. Open the
door very carefully
if the dishwasher
is operating,
there is a risk of water spraying
out.
Do not place any heavy objects or stand on the door
when it is open. The appliance could tip forward.
When
loading
items
to be washed:
1) Locate
sharp
items
so that they
are not likely
to
damage
the door
seal
2) Load
sharp
knives
with
the handles
up to reduce
the risk of cuts.
When using your dishwasher,
you should prevent
plastic items from contacting
the heating element
if the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced
by the manufacturer
or its service agent or a
similarly
qualified
person in order to avoid a
hazard.
Please
dispose
of packing
materials
properly.
Use the dishwasher
only for its intended
function.

When
removing
or discarding
an old dishwasher
from
service,
always
remove
the door and/or
defeat
(disable)
the door lock
mechanism.
This will
prevent
children
from
becoming
accidentally
trapped
inside
the machine
and possibly
suffocate.
