About the water filter.
Place the top of the cartridge up
inside the cartridge holder and
slowly turn it to the right.
Water Filter Cartridge
The water filter cartridge is located in the
back upper right corner of the refrigerator
compartment.
When to Replace the Filter
The water filter should be replaced every
6 momhs or earlier, depending on quanti W
of use and water quali_:
Installing the Filter Cartridge
O If you are replacing the cartridge, first
remove the old one by slowly turning it
to the left. Oonotpull dovm on the
cartridge. A small amount of wamr may
drip down. (Keep the filter bypass plug
in a safe place.)

Unpack the new filmn (Each new
refrigerator comes equipped with a
sample water filter that is taped to the
inside of the fresh fbod door.) Wriw on
the new flmr the date (month/year)
when it yeas installed.
Fill the replacement cartridge with
water from the rap to allow for better
flow from the dispenser immediately
after installation.
_ Lining up the arrow on the cartridge
and the carwidge holdm; place the
top of the new cartridge up inside
tim holden DO not push it up into
tim holdel:
_ Slowly turn it to the right until the filter
cartridge stops. DONOTOVERTIGHTEN.
As you turn the cartridge, it will
automatically raise itself into position.
Cartridge will rotate about 1/4 turn.
_Run water from the dispenser for
3 minutes (about 1½ gallons [6 liter])
to clear the system and prevent
sputtering.
NOTE: A newlyqnstalled water filter
cartridge may" cause watar ta spurt
from the dispenser.
Filter Bypass Plug
You must use the filWr bypass plug
when a replacement filmr cartridge is not
available. The dispenser and the icemaker
will not operate without tim filter or flter
bypass plug.

Bins can easily be rearranged or carried
from refrigerator to work area.
TOremove:Tilt the bin up and pull out on
the molded supports until it comes
completely out of the dooi:
To replace or relocate: Select desired
shelf
height, engage the bin in the molded
supports on the door and slide tim bin in.
Bin will hook into place.
Fixeddoorshelf.'lb install shelf; push it in,
then dovm to lock it in place.
The dividerhelps prevent tipping, spilling or
sliding of small items stored on the door
shelf. Place a finger on either side of the
divider near the front and move it hack and
forth to fit your needs.
