• The trimmer attachment shield must a lways b einplace while

extended, and theproper line installed. Donotextend t he

• This unit h asa clutch. The trimmer attachment remains stationary
when theengine i sidling. If itdoes not,take theunit t oaSears o r

• Adjust theD-handle toyour s ize inorder t oprovide t hebest g rip.
• Besure thetrimmer attachment isnotincontact withanything
before s tarting t heunit.
• Use theunitonly indaylight orgood artificial light.
• Avoid accidental starting. Beinthestarting p osition w henever
pulling t hestarter rope. T he operator and unitmust b eina stable
position w hile starting. Refer toStarting/Stopping
Instructions.

• Always h old theunit w ithboth hands w hen operating. Keep a firm
griponboth handles o rgrips.
• Keep hands, face, a ndfeetaway f rom allmoving p arts. D onot

extremely hotfrom operation, even after t heunitisturned off.

from one cutting location t oanother.
