18. REMOVE cut-off p ieces anddebris fromthetable
before starting thesaw. Thevibration ofthesaw
maycause themto moveintothesawbladeandbe
thrown out. Aftercutting, t urnthesawoff. When
thebladehascometoa complete s top,unplug the
sawandremove alldebris.
19. NEVER START thesawwiththeworkpiece against
theblade.
20. NEVER perform "free-hand" operations. U seeither
thefenceor mitergauge to position andguidethe
workpiece. Holdtheworkpiece f irmlyagainst t he
mitergaugeor fence.
21. USEa pushstick(s) f or ripping a narrow workpiece.

AVOID AWKWARD OPERATIONS AND HAND
POSITIONS where a sudden slip could cause a
hand to move into the blade.
23. KEEP arms, hands and fingers away from the blade.
24. NEVER have any part of your body in line with the
path of the saw blade.
25. NEVER reach around or over the blade.
26. NEVER attempt to free a stalled blade without first
turning the machine "OFF" and unplugging it from
the power source.

NEVER reset the thermal-overload button before
you have turned the table saw "OFF".
PROPERLY SUPPORT long or wide workpiece.
TURN THE SAW "OFF" and unplug from power
source. Clean off the table/work area before leav-
ing the saw. LOCK the START/STOP switch with
padlock provided to prevent unauthorized use.
ALWAYS position auxiliary fence at least 2-inches
in front of saw blade when using auxiliary fence as
a stop when cross cutting.
The right extension wing MUST BE completely
assembled and motor cover closed and fastened
before table saw is to be connected to the power
source.
