9. Rotate f uei s hut=off valve t o "On" p osition ( A)(fully
counter=clockwise).
10.Move choke l ever t o"Choke" position.
NOTE:For a warm engine, be sure the choke lever is in the
"Rue" position.
11. Move ON/OFFswitch (A) to ON position.
iMPORTANT: Before starting the pressure washer, be sure
/ou are wearing adequatesafety goggles.
WARNING
Risk of eye injury.

Alwayswearsafetygoggleswhenusingthis equipment o r in
vicinity of whereequipment i sin use.
Beforestartingthe pressure washer,besureyou arewearing
adequate safetygoggles.
NEVER substitutesafetyglassesfor safetygoggles.
12. When starting engine, position yourself as
recommended, grasp handle and puff recoii starter
lightly until you feel some resistance, then pulI briskly.
WARNING
Starter cord kickback (rapid retraction) can result
in bodily injury. Kickback will pu!I hand and arm
toward engine faster than you can iet go.
Broken bones, fractures, bruises, or sprains
could result.
• NEVER pull startercord withoutfirst rdievingspraygun
pressure.
o Whenstartingengine,pull cord slowlyuntil resistance is felt
andthen pull rapidlyto avoidkickback.
o After eachstartingattempt,whereengine fails to run, always
pointspraygun in safedirection,pressred buttonand squeeze
sprayguntriggerto release high pressure.
o Firmlygraspspraygun with both handswhenusing high
pressure sprayto avoidiniurywhenspraygun kicks back.
NOTE:Engine has an automatic idle controi. The idle control
wiii slow engine down when trigger is released.
13. Return recoii starter siowiy. DO NOT let rope "snap
back" against starter.
14. When engine starts, siowiy move choke iever to "Run"
position, as engine warms, if engine faiters, move choke
lever to "Choke" position, t!_ento "Rue" position.
15. After each starting attempt, w!_ereengine faiis to run,
always point gun in safe direction, press red button and
squeeze spray gun trigger to releasehigh pressure.
Move choke lever to "Choke" position, and repeat steps
12 through 14.
16. If engine faiis to start after six puffs, move choke iever to
"Run" position, and repeatsteps 12 througil 14.
17. Point spray gun in a safe direction, push the red button
to releasethe trigger lock, and pulI the trigger.
WARNING
The high pressure stream of water that this
equipment produces can cut through skin and its
_
nderlying tissues, ieading to serious injury and
}ossibte amputation.
Spray gun traps high water pressure, even when
engine is stopped and water is disconnected,
which can cause injury.
• DONOTallowCHILDREN to operatepressure washer.
o Keephigh pressurehoseconnected to reelandspraygun while
systemis pressurized.
o NEVER aim spraygun at people,animals,or plants.
• DONOT securespraygun in openposition.
o DONOTleavespraygun unattended whilernachine is running.
• NEVER usea spraygun whichdoesnot havea triggerlock or
triggerguardin placeandin workingorder.
o Alwaysbe certainspraygun,nozzles and accessories are
correctlyattached.
