If you are...
Installing a new Storage Array
on a system with no existing
arrays.
Installing a new Storage Array
on a system with existing arrays
that you have been managing
with SM60-NT, the earlier
version of the HP Storage
Manager 60 software.
Upgrading from Windows NT 4.0
to Windows 2000 on a system
with Storage Array(s) that you
have been managing with
SM60-NT, the earlier version of
the HP Storage Manager 60
software.

You will have to....
1. Install the NT or 2000 version of the HP Storage Manager
60 software on the host(s) and management stations.
2. If you are running Windows 2000, you will have to
download the Windows 2000 NVSRAM to the Storage Array
controllers.
1. Upgrade the SM60-NT software to the NT or 2000 version
of the SM60 software on the host(s) and management
stations.
2. If you are running Windows 2000, you will have to
download the Windows 2000 NVSRAM to the new Storage
Array controllers.
3. Upgrade the firmware on the existing Storage Array
controllers to version 4.00.02, and download the appropriate
NVSRAM (NT or 2000).
1. Upgrade the operating system from Windows NT to
Windows 2000.
2. Install the new HP Storage Manager 60 software. The
older SM60-NT version of the software will be removed
during the installation.
3. Upgrade the firmware on the existing Storage Array
controllers to version 4.00.02, and download the Windows
2000 NVSRAM.
