Notes
The Host-Agent package must be installed
on the host. The Host-Agent package
contains important utilities necessary for
operating the storage management
software.
The Microsoft Virtual Machine is a required
component for installing and using the
Host-Agent software and the SM60devices
utility.
The RDAC component is required for
controller failover support and is a required
component for using the Host-Agent
software.
If you install the SM60client on the Cluster
Servers (Nodes A and B), you do not need
to be connected to a network. However,
the host nodes must have the TCP/IP
Protocol software installed.
