The HP LeftHand Storage with 10 GbE NICs installed and configured supports these bond types.
Adaptive Load Balancing (ALB) bond with the two 10 GbE Ethernet NICs
Active-Passive bond with two 10 GbE Ethernet NICs
Active-Passive bond with a 1 GbE NIC and a 10 GbE NIC
Link Aggregation Dynamic Mode (802.3ad) bond with two 10 GbE Ethernet NICs
Unsupported bonds with 10 GbE
The HP LeftHand Storage with 10 GbE NICs installed and configured does not support these bond
types.

IP address for NIC bonds
Allocate a static IP address for the logical bond interface (bond0). You cannot use DHCP for the
bond IP.
NIC bonding and speed, duplex, frame size, and flow control settings
These settings are controlled on the TCP/IP and TCP Status tabs of the Network configuration
category. If you change these settings, you must ensure that both sides of the NIC cable are
configured in the same manner. For example, if the storage system is set for Auto/Auto, the switch
must be set the same. See for more information.
