Description
LED
When the LED is on, unit is plugged in and receiving
(Yellow)
power from the primary AC outlet. The SVP is
receiving power from the outlet.
If BS is off, then the disk array is not receiving power
from the primary AC outlet. Check the electrical outlets
in your building.
LED
When the LED is on, the power switch is on, and the
(Green)
array is ready to receive data.
Off means the power switch is off; the disk array is not
powered on and is not ready to receive data.
Switch
Used to enable the PWR on/off switch. To enable the
PWR on/off switch, turn the PWR SW ENABLE switch
to the ENABLE position.
Switch
To switch on/off the subsystem, use this switch while
turning the PWR SW ENABLE switch to the ENABLE
position. This switch is valid when the REMOTE/
LOCAL switch is set to the LOCAL position.
Switch
Used to power off the storage subsystem in an
emergency situation.
Switch
Determines how the disk array is powered on or off.
REMOTE: Disk array is powered on/off by the
instructions of the CPU.
LOCAL: Disk array is powered on/off by the PWR
ON/PWR OFF switch.
Switch
LED TEST position: The LEDs on the panel go on.
CHK RESET position: The PS and THERMOCOUPLE
alarms are reset.
