To provide the highest levels of data integrity and availability, the HP StorageWorks XP
Disk Array family uses RAID technologies and redundant hardware throughout the disk
arrays, including:
• RAID1, RAID5, RAID6 (mixing RAID levels is allowed)
• Mirrored write cache
• Dual channel adapters (CHAs) and array control processors (ACPs)
• Dual and concurrently active data and control paths through the array
• Split power domains on internal data paths
• Hot-pluggable boards
• Hot-pluggable fans, power supplies, and controllers
• Online upgradable firmware
