1 Rotate the mode dial to P, S or A. ®

Rotate the command dial to set the exposure.
• In
P
mode, the flexible program (_)53) can be set.
• In S mode, the shutter speed can be set in a range from a maximum speed of
1/2000 to 8 seconds.
• In a mode, the aperture value can be set in a range of f/2.8 to 8 (wide-angle position)
and f/5.6 to 8 (telephoto zoom position).
3 Frame the subject and shoot, _ _
• Inthe default setting, the camera has nine focus areas,
and automatically selects the focus areas containing the
subject closest to the camera. When the subject is in
focus, the focus area (active focus area) lights in green
(maximum of nine areas) (_48).
