Macro
Mode
VVhen using macro mode, tt]e camera car] focus on objects as close as 1 cm
(0.4 in.) from the front of the lens.
This feature is useful when taking close up pictures of flowers and other small
subjects.

Tap the macro mode icon.

Tap ON.
• To quit without changing the setting, tap the
macro mode icon again. If you tap any other
icon, the setting screen for that item is
displayed.

Tap
III or _ to set the zoom
ratio
to a position
where

and the
zoom
indicator
glow
green.
• The closest possible shooting distance may vary according to
the zoom position.
• The camera can focus on subjects as close as 10 cm (4 in.)
from the lens when _ and the zoom indicator glow green.
The camera can focus on subjects as close as 1 cm (0.4 in.)
from the lens when the zoom indicator is positioned
below _>
(wide-angle position).
