Using Easy Panorama
(Shooting
and Playback)

Move the camera slowly and straight
in one of the four directions,
and
begin shooting.
When
the camera
detects
which
direction
it is
moving
in, shooting
begins.
A guide
indicating
the current
shooting
position
is displayed.

position

reaches
the edge,
shooting
ends.
Example of Camera Movement

• The operator, without shifting position, moves the camera horizontally or
vertically in an arc so that the guide travels from one edge to the other.
• Shooting stops if the guide does not reach the edge within about 1S seconds
(whenSTD

(180 °) is selected) or within about 30 seconds (when
WIDE
Wide (360 °) is selected) after shooting starts.

Panorama
Shooting
• The range of the image
seen in the saved picture
will be narrower
than
that seen in the monitor
at
the time
of shooting,
• If the camera
is moved
too quickly
or shaken too much,
or if the subject
is too uniform
(e,g. walls or
darkness),
an error may occur.
• if shooting
is stopped
before the camera
reaches the halflway
point
in the panorama
range, a
panorama
picture
is not saved.
• if more than haFof
the panorama
range is captured
but shooting
ends before
reaching
the edge
of the range, the range not captured
is recorded
and displayed
in gray.

the
Shooting
Range
• When
using easy panorama,
tap the MENUtab, tap E_-_ASY,
and tap either
STD
Normal
(180 °) or
W[DF
Wide (360°),
• When
the camera
is held in the horizontal
position
during
shooting,
the image
size (width
x
height)
is as follows,
Normal
(180°):
3200 x 560 when moved
horizontally,
1024 x 3200 when
moved
vertically
Wide
(360°):
6400 x 560 when
moved
horizontally,
1024 x 6400 when moved
vertically
When the camera
is held in the vertical position
during
shooting,
the direction
and the width
and height
are switched,
