The camera takes one picture for each eye to simulate a three dimensional image
on a 3D compatible TV or monitor.
• The two captured images are saved as a 3D picture (MPO file) consisting of the
left and right eye images. The first image (the left eye image) is also saved as a
JPEG file.
• Pictures taken in this mode are saved at an image size of_
(1920 x 1080).

Set the
shooting
mode
to 3D photography.
• See "Scene Mode (Shooting Suited to tile Scene)" ([]_] 40) for inforrnation
about
setting the shooting mode to 3D photography.

Frame
the
subject
and release
the shutter.
• The camera focuses at the center of
the frame. The focus area can be
changed with the touch shutter or
touch AF/AE option ([]_] 38).
• The focus, exposure, and white
balance are locked after the first shot, and _=_
is displayed on the monitor.
• The first picture is taken, and a translucent
guide for taking the second picture is
displayed in the frame.

Move
the
camera
horizontally
to the
right
until
the
guide
is aligned
with
the subject.
• To cancel shooting, tap I_l

Wait for the camera
to release
the shutter
with
the subject
aligned
with
the
guide.
• The camera automatically
takes the second picture when it detects that the subject is
aligned with the guide.
• Shooting is canceled if the subject is not aligned with the guide within ten seconds.
