Taking Pictures for a Panorama
The camera focuses or] the subject in the center of the frame. Use a tripod for the
best results.

Press thea button in shooting
mode to displaythe shooting-mode
selection menu and use the multi
selector to select I:_ (Panorama
assist) ([_[_] 33).
Panoramadirection icons(D) are displayed
to show the direction in which pictureswill
bejoined.
2 Use the multi selector to choose the direction
and press the _) button.
Select how pictures will bejoined together in the
completed panorama; right (E)),left (_), up (_) or down
The yellow panorama direction icon (E)D) will move to
the direction pressed and press the _) button to choose
the direction. A white panorama direction icon (E))will be displayed in the chosen
direction.
Apply flash mode (_ 28), self-timer ([_ 30), macro mode ([_ 31) and exposure
compensation ([_ 32) settings with this step, if necessary.
Press the _) button again to reselect the direction.
3 Takethe first picture.
One third of the last picture taken will be
displayed partially transparent.
4 Take the next picture.
Compose the next picture so that one-third of
the frame overlaps the previous picture.
Repeat until you have taken the necessary
number of pictures to complete the scene.
