Interval Timer Photography
Pictures are taken automatically at specified intervals.
Choose an interval of 30 s, 1 min, 5 min, or 10 min.
1 Use the multi selector to choose Intvl timer
shooting in the Continuous menu and press
the _) button.
2 Choose interval between shots and press the
_) button.
The maximum number of pictures varies according to the
specified interval.
__ 30 s: up to 600 pictures
oo 1 rain: up to 300 pictures
_. 5 rain: up to 60 pictures
10 min: up to 30 pictures

_- The camera returns to shooting mode.
_- 4 Press the shutter-release button all the way

_ down to take the first picture and initiate
interval timer shooting.
Monitor turns offand power-on lamp blinks between shots.
The monitor turns on automatically right before the next

Press the shutter-release button all the way down again to end
recording.
Recording will end automatically if the internal memory or memory card becomes full,
or when the maximum number of pictures have been taken.

Notes on Power Source
• To prevent the camera from turning off unexpectedly during recording, use a fully charged battery.
• If the AC Adapter EH 62D (available separately) is used, COOLPIX$220/$225 can be powered from
a home electrical outlet. Do not use any other AC adapters as it will cause the camera to heat up or
malfunction,
