Curb-hop feature
1 Stoptheengine. N ever a djust t hewheels whilethe
engine is running.
2 Setthe index leveratvertical c utposition to
prevent b ladecontact w iththecurb. T hemaximum
height o fa curbshould notexceed 8 inches.
3 Setthe
entire edger on the curb.
4 In the correct position, both the right rear wheel (A)
and the front wheel (B) are off to the side of the
curb and the left rear wheel is on the curb as
shown in Figure 14. Position the edger to allow the
wheels to be lowered.
5 Loosen the rear wheel knob (C) to lower the right
rear wheel to the pavement. Make sure the edger
is level from side to side and tighten the rear wheel
knob.
6 Use the depth control lever (D) to lower the front
wheel to the setting where the front wheel touches
the pavement and the edger is level.
