MAKING A DADO CUT
See Figure 5Z.
An optionaldado throat plate is requiredfor this
procedure,See the Accessories sectionof this
manual and check with your nearest Seam Retail
Store. All bladesand dado sets must be rated at least
5,000 RPM,
,_ WARNING: Unplug the saw before working
around the blade. Accidental startingcould
cause serious injury,
• Take out the throat plate by loosening the screw.
• Remove the rivingknife end guard assembly,
• Remove the blade.
• Mount the dado blade accordingto the instructions
providedwith it,
• Test the blade nut and bladawesher tightness.
• Installoptionaldado throat plate.
• Plug in the sew and follow dado instructions.
Always use pushsticks with dado cuts.
• When the work is completed, press the switch off
and remove the key. Unplug the saw. remove the
dado insertand dado blade. Reinstall the blade,
rivingknife, blade guard and throat plate.
