Blocking Calls

Blocking "PRIVATE" calls
If you have Caller ID service and have
turned on the Caller ID function, you
can have the machine automatically
block all calls for which Caller ID
information is not provided at the
caller's request (calls for which
"PRIVATE" appears).

When this function is turned on, the
machine will break the connection as
soon as it receives Caller ID
information when a "PRIVATE" call is
received. The caller will hear a 3-
second high-pitch tone to signal the
call's termination. The call will not
break off until the caller has hung up.

Blocking "UNAVAILABLE" calls
If you have Caller ID service and have
turned on the Caller ID function, you
can have the machine automatically
block all calls for which "UNAVAILABLE"
appears.

When this function is turned on, the
machine will break the connection as
soon as it receives Caller ID
information when an "UNAVAILABLE"
call is received. The caller will hear a

Blocking calls from specified
numbers (Anti Junk numbers)
If you have Caller ID service and have
turned on the Caller ID function, you
can have the machine automatically
block calls from numbers that you
specify.
To use this function, enter the fax/phone
numbers that you want to block. Up to
30 numbers can be entered.

When this function is turned on, the
machine will break the connection as
soon as it receives Caller ID
information when a call from one of
your specified numbers is received.
The caller will hear a 3-second high-
pitch tone to signal the call's
termination. The call will not break off
until the caller has hung up.
