Scanning Setting

You can select following 3 types of setting for the scanning:

Quality Setting

adjustment and resolution selection.
Format Setting
composition (making single-page files or whole pages into one file).
Original Setting

Touch the QUALITY key.

When selecting the Original Image Type, select TEXT or TEXT/PHOTO mode depending on the
original image type.

To adjust intensity, touch the DARKNESS
to increase.

To adjust contrast, touch the CONTRAST
to increase. Note that if TEXT mode is selected in step 2, contrast can not be adjusted.

To adjust resolution, select either of the resolution buttons, 200 dpi, 300 dpi or 600

Touch the OK key.
Includes original image type selection, intensity adjustment, contrast
Includes selection of scanned image file type, compression format and file
Includes document style selection and desired scan size selection.
