A clean recording head helps your fax machine deliver optimum printing performance.
Clean the
head frequently
as follows:
1. Turn off the power of the fax machine. Pull the
operation panel knob forward and open the opera-

tion panel.

2. Wipe the recording head and edge of the head
cover with
a soft
cloth dampened with ethyl al-
cohol.
3. Close the operation panel by gently pushing down
on the center. Turn the power back on.

Do not use benzene or thinner. Avoid touching the head with hard objects.

The head may be hot if yourfar machine has just received a large number of documents.vthis
is the
case, allow the head to cool prior to cleaning.
