1. BELT GUARD LOCK.,. Locks the hinged part of the
guard during operation.
2. INDEX PIN... Engages with the spindle pulley to deter-
mine equal spacing for cuts for fluting or reeding, or for
dividing face plate work. DO NOT USE FOR RE-
MOVING FACE PLATES.
3. SPINDLE LOCK HOLE . . . For removing face plates
or sending discs, Insert a setscrew wrench, large nail or
bolt in the hole to hold the spindle while unscrewing
face plate or sanding disc.
4, TOOL REST LOCK ... Clamp the tool rest to the tool
rest base.
5. TOOL REST BASE LOCK.., Clamps the tool rest base
to the bed.
6. HANDWHEEL... Adjusts the tailstock ram.
7. TAll_STOCK RAM LOCK... Clamps the ram in the
tailstock.
8. TAILSTOCK LOCK... Clamps the tailstock to the bed,
