Need help?
Do you have a question about the SHOP FOX D4031 and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
I am having trouble getting the tool to stay on the press when i loosen the alignment rod. there is nothing in the manual for this problem, other than if the spacer rings do not close enough to hold, the use the bushings. I understand the idea here but i cannot hold them in place as i move the tool into position. Please help.
To fix the issue of the Shop Fox D4031 tool not staying on the press when loosening the alignment rod, ensure the hold-down bracket and rod(s) are properly attached. These components help secure the tool in place during setup and operation. If the tool does not stay on the press, recheck the installation of the hold-down components and verify that all mounting sleeves and bushings match the drill press spindle size for a snug fit.
