Problem and Solution

Paper Out
-
Load paper in the sheet feeder; then
E
press the
light off. The printer resumes printing.
Remove and reload the paper; then
E
press the
light off. The printer resumes printing.
Paper Jam
O
Take all the paper out of the sheet
feeder, reload the paper, then press the
E
load/eject button. If the light continues
to flash, turn off the printer and gently
pull out any paper that may be jammed
in the printer. If it tears and pieces
remain inside the printer, open the
printer cover and remove the pieces of
paper. Turn on the printer and try again.
Ink Low (black ink cartridge)

Obtain a replacement black ink
cartridge (S020093).
Ink Out (black ink cartridge)
-
Replace the black ink cartridge with a
new one (S020093).
Ink Low (color ink cartridge)

Obtain a replacement color ink
cartridge (S020110).
Ink Out (color ink cartridge)

Replace the color ink cartridge with a
new one (S020110).
Carriage Error

Press the P power button twice to reset
the printer. If the error is not cleared,
contact your dealer.
Unknown Printer Error

Turn off the printer, and after a few
seconds turn it on again. If the error is not
cleared, contact your dealer.
