To Reattach the Eyecup
(1) Replace the small lens inside the viewfinder. (2) Align the groove on the eyecup with tile • mark on the
barrel. (3) Turn the eyecup clockwise.

Camcorder Operation
• Operate the camcerder on &O V (battery pack) or 7.5 V (AC power adaptor).
• For DC or AC operation, use the accessories recommended in this manual.
• Should any solid object or liquid fall into the casing, disconnect the plug of the camcorder and have it
checked by qualified personnel before operating it any further.
• Do not hold the camcorder by the viewfinder.[a]
• Avoid rough handling or mechanical shock. Be particularly careful of the lens.
• Keep the lens cap on the lens when not using the camera.
• Do not wrap up the camcorder and operate it since heat may build up internally.
• Keep the camcorder away from strong magnetic fields or mechanical vibration.
• Do not let sand get into the camcorder. When you use the camcorder on a sandy beach or dusty
place, protect it from the sand or dust. Sand or dust may cause the unit to malfunction and
sometimes the malfunction cannot be repaired.[b]
• Do not let the camcorder get wet. Keep the camcorder from rain or sea water. It may cause a
