If you're using Windows 98 with a USB connection, you need to
uninstall the EPSON USB Printer Device software also. Follow
steps 3 and 4 again. In step 3, select EPSON USB Printer
Devices in the list.

Restart your computer. To reinstall your software, see the Start
Here card or the USB Software Installation Guide .
Windows 3.1 Instructions

Double-click the Main program group icon, then double-click
the Control Panel icon.

Double-click Printers.

Select EPSON Stylus COLOR 740 in the Installed Printers list
and click the Remove button.

To reinstall your software, see the Start Here card.
Macintosh Instructions

Insert the EPSON printer software CD-ROM in your drive.

Double-click the EPSON icon. After a moment, you see the
EPSON Stylus COLOR 740 Installer Main Menu.

Click Re-install Printer Driver, then click the same button on
the next screen.

At the driver installation title screen, click Continue.
