Slide themode switch to
(Shooting). in theFUNC.menu,
selectr_ {Auto).
Pressthe FUNC./SET button.
The display will return to the shooting
screen and _ will appear on the LCD
monitor.
Aim the cameraat the subject.
Usethe zoom lever to achieve the
desired composition (relativesize
ofsubjectin viewfinder)(p. 45).
Press t heshutter button h alfway ( p.46).
Two beeps will play when the camera has
finished metenng, and the upper indicator
besidethe viewfinder will light green or
orange. If the LCD monitor is on, the AF
frame will appear green.
If the subjectis difficult to focuson, the lower
indicatorbeside the viewfinder will blinkyellow
andthe beepwill play onetime.
