The images you shoot are automatically assigned file numbers. You can
select how the file number is assigned.
The file number is resetto the start (100-0001) eachtime a new SD
On
card is inserted. New imagesrecordedon SD cards with existing files
are assignedthe next availablenumber.
The file number of the last imageto be shot is memorizedso that

mages recordedto a new SDcard start from the next number.
in the [_ (Set up) menu,select
[File No. Reset].

Usethe ÷ or ÷ button toselect
[On]or [Off]and pressthe MENU
button.
The display will return to the shooting
screen.
Setting the File No. Reset to [Off] is useful for avoiding file name
duplication when images are downloaded to a computer.
