Use the @ or @ button to select
Q (Play)andpressthe FUNC./SET
button.
- A preview of the temporarily edited movie
clip plays.
* To stop it, press the FUNC,/$ET button
again.
Use the ÷ or _ button to select
(Save)and pressthe FUHC./
SETbutton.

Selecting _
(Exit) cancels the edits and
returns to the movie control panel display.
Use the ÷ or ÷ button to select
[HewFile] or [Overwrite]andpress
the FUNC./SET button.
* [New File] saves the edited movie under a
new file name. The pre-edit data is left
unchanged.
Note, if you press the FUNC./SETbutton
while saving the movie, saving is
canceled.
[Overwrite] saves the edited movie with its
G
original name. The pre-edit data is lost.
When the SDcard lacks sufficient spaceto
createa new movie, only [Overwrite] can be
selected.
o The minimum duration of a movie that can be edited is 1 second.
o It may take approximately 3 minutes to save an edited movie. If the
battery pack runs out of charge partway through, edited movie clips
cannot be saved. When editing movies, use a fully charged battery
pack or the separately sold AC Adapter Kit ACK-DCIO (p. 169).
