Usethe ÷ or ÷ button toselect
[On]and press theMENUbutton.
The display will return to the Shooting
screen.
Press thezoom lever toward [$3.
- The combined optical and digital zoom
factor appears on the LCD monitor.
* When you press the zoom lever toward
F_3, the zoom stops when the lens
reaches the maximum optical telephoto
setting (when shooting still images).
Press the zoom lever toward F_3 again to
activate the digital zoom and further zoom
the image digitally.
* Pressthe zoom levertoward _}] to zoom
out.
'_ The digital zoom can also be used in movie mode (standard).
* Images become coarser the more they are digitally zoomed.
