TheSDcardhasawrite-protect t ab. Slidingthe tab downwardprevents
recordingof dataandprotectsexistingdata(e.g.images). W henrecording
to, erasingfrom or formattingthe SDcard,slidethe tab upward.

Ensure that the SD card is correctly oriented before insertingit in the camera. It may damage the camera if inserted backward by mistake.
Turn the camera power off and insert the SD card with the following
procedures.
Slide theSD cardslot/battery cover
in the directionofthe arrows.

Push it in with your finger or the toggle on
the wrist strap, as illustrated on the
camera bottom, until it cricks into place.
Do not touch or allow metal objects to
contact the terminals on the back of the
SD card.
