5. After the system reboots, verify the installation by typing the following
commands:
# /usr/bin/pkginfo | grep SUNWhsip
system SUNWhsip SunHSI/P Driver for PCI
system SUNWhsipm SunHSI/P Man Pages for PC
system SUNWhsipu SunHSI/P Utilities for PCI
# modinfo | grep HSIP
126 7bb24000 17708 150 1 HSIP (PT-PCI334 Driver)
# grep HSIP /etc/path_to_inst
"/ssm@0,0/pci@18,700000/pci1214,334a@2" 0 "HSIP"
The output shows that the packages are installed, the driver is loaded, and that
the software is mapped to the adapter.

▼ To Test the Installation

Type the following command (replace n with the adapter port you are testing):
# hsip_loop -c 100 -l 2048 -s 2048000 -t 1 hihpn
This command runs an internal loopback test. For more information, see the
hsip_loop(1M) man page.
