Making Camera Settings

The Settings menu allows you to change
certain camera settings, including the
internal clock, the alert beep, the LCD
brightness level, and the energy saving
mode. You can set the display language in
the Language menu.

Setting the clock

The steps below describe how to adjust the date
(year, month, day), the time (hour and
minutes), and also how designate the order in
which the year, month and day appear.
1.
Turn the camera's dial switch to Play and press
the SEL button.
2.
Press the
button until Settings appears on the
screen, then press the SEL button. Icons for each
setting appear on the screen, with the clock icon
highlighted in orange.
3.
Press the SEL button again to enter the clock
setting mode.

Press the SEL button until the item you want to
adjust is selected. The selected item turns red.

scroll faster, keep pressing the button.

Press the SEL button to move to the next clock
setting.
7.
Repeat steps 4 through 6 until the date and time
are correctly adjusted and saved. Press the SEL
button or ESC button to return to the Settings
menu.

To exit the Settings menu, press ESC again.

Setting the alert beep

To turn the camera's alert beep on or off, follow
these steps.
1.
Turn the camera's dial switch to Play and press
the SEL button. Icons for each setting appear on
the screen, with the uppermost icon highlighted
in orange.
2.
Press the
button until Settings appears on the
screen, then press the SEL button. Icons for each
setting appear on the screen, with the clock icon
highlighted in orange.
